In the heart of Ecuador's high country lies Chimborazo, the highest mountain in the country. For centuries, ice merchants retrieved ice from a glacier聽on the mountain and sold it at local markets. To pay homage to this tradition, mountain bikers Eric Porter and Mike Hopkins with photographer Mason Mashon rode with their own collection of聽glacial ice all the way to the ocean 17,000 feet below.
