Teva Gnarkosi ($100; teva.com). With its “Drain Frame” perforations in the heel and toe, think of this fully enclosed shoe as a colander for your feet. You may not be a pro wakeskater like the people who helped Teva design the Gnarkosi, but if you are on the river all the time and want a flat outsole and more coverage than a sandal, the Gnarkosi is your next step.
