Keeping your campsite kitchen tidy is a challenge. That鈥檚 what鈥檚 so great about Kanz鈥檚 Field Kitchen K120P鈥攊t鈥檚 as utilitarian as it is beautifully designed. Pots and pans and odds and ends in the various compartments, utensils in the silverware drawer, and you in command of the heavy-duty (10,000 BTU) two-burner propane stove. (If you鈥檝e already got one of those, Kanz offers the set without it for $595.) Recessed cooking provides great protection from the elements鈥攚e boiled two liters of water in just a few minutes despite gusty 30-mile-per-hour winds鈥攁nd the whole thing quickly collapses to cooler size for easy transport and storage. The legs and side shelves cost extra ($69 and $55, respectively), but our only real gripe was with its stance. While the materials are solid (marine-grade aluminum and birch plywood), it鈥檚 a bit wobbly for such a fine piece of craftsmanship.
