Floyd Landis will make a comeback鈥攖o amateur cycling. The 37-year-old confessed doper is , which will focus solely on amateur riders, both serious and recreational.聽

So, why 鈥渁mateur鈥 cycling?

“Professional cycling is organized crime,” Landis told USA TODAY. “I’m done with that.” He continued:聽

This is about using whatever association people have with me to create an event where people can have a good time. Other than that, I’m finished with cycling鈥擨 have no interest in being a public figure in cycling.

The race will take place from June 1-2. The first day’s steep three-mile climb will be followed by a 100-mile ride. Registration is $100, and prizes will be awarded for the winners of each age group.
