A trio of American alpinists made , a steep rock pillar that is part of India’s 20,702-foot Meru peak. Conrad Anker, Jimmy Chin, and Renan Ozturk climbed for 11 days before reaching the peak’s summit on October 2. The team attempted the wall in 2008, but were turned back by a storm fewer than 350 feet from the summit, an experienced Anker later chronicled for 国产吃瓜黑料.
