Colorado is nearly drought-free, with only 2 percent of the state still classified as abnormally dry, according to 聽released Thursday.
The percentage of states classified as abnormally dry is down from 26 percent last week and 75 percent three months ago. This is the first time since 2009 that Colorado has had so little drought.
This decrease in drought鈥攅specially in the Western Slope and southeastern counties鈥攊s due to recent rainfall.
