Lewy-Boulet, 38, was born in Poland but represented the United States at the 2008 Beijing Olympics after becoming an American citizen in 2001. In her first-ever attempt at the Cape Cod race, she beat Burundi’s Diane Nurkuri-Johnson and four-time Falmouth winner Catherine Ndereba of Kenya by 18 seconds. Lucas Rotich won the men’s race in 31:37, four seconds up on fellow Kenyan Micah Kogo.
