Interested in the fast-paced, dynamic, challenging world of online news and information? 国产吃瓜黑料 magazine, America's leading active-lifestyle and adventure-travel magazine dedicated to covering the sports, people, places, adventures, discoveries, health and fitness, gear and apparel, trends, and events that define the active lifestyle, is hiring an online editor for its growing team. This full-time position with benefits is based at Mariah Media/国产吃瓜黑料 editorial headquarters in downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Responsibilities include: Conceiving innovative ways of covering the world outside and generating ideas for ongoing features and special editorial packages; recruiting new contributors for 国产吃瓜黑料 Online; writing, editing and producing stories before publication; working with 国产吃瓜黑料's growing stable of industry experts and bloggers; and further developing 国产吃瓜黑料's News From the Field aggregation feature.
The ideal candidate: Can spot talent, build and manage a team, and operate independently; has significant experience or familiarity with digital media鈥攁ssigning, producing, writing, and editing stories for the Web鈥攁nd the tools and programs used to create it; has strong organizational and project management skills; has a proven ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment; and has a deep understanding of how to attract and engage a digital audience including, but not limited to, using social media, third-party aggregators, search, and content partners.
