From the coastal sage scrub of San Diego, Bela is a writer and mediocre adrenaline junkie. She received a bachelor鈥檚 degree in writing from Pepperdine University and a master鈥檚 in environmental studies from the University of Montana. She loves to write about the social dynamics of ocean sports, life in a border town, and Mexican family lore. She’s most happy on a surfboard or in a kelp forest.
