鈥淚 always pack my , which is a really cool brand from Chile. They make sunglasses from recycled fishing nets. I鈥檝e had a lot of issues with my eyes, so the Kar眉n are perfect for me, and the quality is insane.鈥

鈥淭丑别 is really warm and flexible, so even during the cold winter days here in Chile, you don鈥檛 have to wear anything more than that. For me, it鈥檚 R3 all the time and it鈥檚 all good.鈥

鈥 is important to me, especially when I鈥檓 traveling to big-wave spots, because I usually wake up early and get ready in the dark. Then, at first light, I鈥檓 pretty much ready to go. For big-wave sessions, you have to wake up early because you may have just a couple windows in the morning or midday.鈥

Sanuk Chiba Quest and Puff N Chill ($70 and $80)

鈥淚 always bring my Sanuk shoes. The is really light, flexible, and good for traveling, especially on airplanes. When I go to cold places, I also bring the , which is more like a winter boot. They鈥檙e both so portable鈥攖hat鈥檚 why I love them.鈥

Patagonia Nano Puff Hoodie聽($249)

鈥淢ost of the time, I bring the , which is a really light jacket that鈥檚 easy to pack.鈥

House of Marley Positive Vibrations Headphones ($50)

鈥淚 carry these all the time. When it鈥檚 a big-wave session, I listen to a lot of Metallica鈥攖hat鈥檚 on my motivation playlist. When I鈥檓 traveling, though, I listen to Chilean music. I listen to podcasts, too, and in the past few months I鈥檝e been listening to meditation classes so I can go deep in myself.鈥

Klean Kanteen Insulated Classic 20-Ounce Water Bottle ($31)

鈥淚 bring my bottles everywhere鈥攐ne for cold water and one for hot water for mat茅 [a traditional South American tealike drink]. Besides coffee, I only drink mat茅, so I need a good thermos to keep the water warm. I travel with my mat茅 pot all over the world.鈥

鈥淲hen I鈥檓 traveling light, with just my surfboard and one little travel bag, I always pack a few of from Parley for the Oceans. I love cooking everywhere I travel, so I use them for groceries, but I also use them for everything, like carrying wetsuits and towels. They鈥檙e so small and easy to travel with.鈥
